Agentes de las fuerzas de seguridad de Portugal comenzaron hoy la denominada “semana de indignación de los policías”, a través de la cual exigen al gobierno la aplicación de las tablas remuneratorias que debieron entrar en vigor el 1 de enero de 2010.
La iniciativa fue convocada por la Comisión Coordinadora Permanente (CCP) de los Sindicatos y Asociaciones de Profesionales de las Fuerzas y Servicios de Seguridad.
La semana de protesta comenzó este miércoles con una reunión en Oporto, en el norte del país, y concluirá el 28 de septiembre con una manifestación en Lisboa.

Partiendo de mi cosmogonia vital, quisiera compartir alguna de mis observaciones sobre el mundo en el que me muevo. Me considero parte de ese gran colectivo de gente que gusta de ganarse la vida por medio de una actividad digna, justa, libre, creativa y autonoma que en nuestra vida cotidiana sufrimos la limitación y muchas veces hasta la punicion en el desarrollo del trabajo que hemos elegido.
Al mismo tiempo observo como el macrosistema productivo convierte el trabajo en una actividad alienante, precaria, competitiva y en muchos casos, explicitamente violenta, conformando una sociedad esclava, autómata y programada que engulle mucho mas de lo que puede crear y cuyo rumbo apunta a un horizonte muy incierto… y esto ¿quien lo hace/causa? ¿los políticos? ¿los partidos?

Result of the first day with coordinated mobilizations.
Protests are becoming increasingly violent. I understand the anger that the students feel. The women sit down and hold plackards, the men attack vehicles and incite the police to violence. I don’t have any answer to this but I feel it needs to be noted and acknowledged how difficult it is for women like myself to take part in demonstrations when there is deliberate provocation of police. This movement needs to learn to deal with anger, or it just becomes a riot.
What does it mean to deal with anger? For me it means firstly to listen to the women, to follow their lead. For too long the men have been the dominating power. Then what happens is just more of the same. Yes there are some women who will go along with the men’s lead. Actually I am asking you to find those womanly feelings in yourselves: make a space where a child can walk safely, feel protected. If these demos are not fit for children they are not fit for anyone. I don’t know how to do it, but I know it has to be done that way, or else we carry on the same terror which is being done to us.
