Barcelona, from 16 to 19 july 2012
Internet is a battlefield which knows no borders, and thanks to that it moves forward by adapting itself to the new challenges it finds on its way. Within this framework, the Mediterranean cyberactivism has been an explosion of creativity and it fights in defense of freedom; from the work of Egyptian bloggers before and during the “Arab spring” to the new tools created by Syrian programmers in order to escape the control of their country’s regime.
The MEETING OF MEDITERRANEAN CYBER-ACTIVISTS + the Radical Community Manager Training aims to be an innovative space to exchange experiences, campaigns and new proposals, as well as to become an advanced formative space for cyberactivists from the whole region. NOVACT in collaboration with X.Net invite you to participate in this international encounter which will take place from July 16th until July 19th in Barcelona.
