A brief update for the occupation of the Placa Catalonia.
The occupation of the placa Catalonia continues. Everyday thousands gather to listen to speakers and have their say at the evening assembly. At 7 pm the square is packet with people from all warps of life, men in suets, laborers, circus folk, the young and the elderly all gather to form political debate. This spite the constant flow of entertainment the daily assembly is definitely the main event. Yesterday Friday 3ed June protesters surrounded Felip Puig, a high ranking official thought to be responsible for the order to clear the site, an order which led to many of the people occupying the space to be injured as the police came forward.
The demonstrators surround the building Puig was in and catered there pots and pans, disrupting his daily duties. After being moved on by police they marched to the Placa Catalonia where they where greeted with applauds and cheers from the crowd who where starting to gather for there nightly meeting the people hear are truly motivated for change and are keen to show the people at the top exactly how they feel. As this moment grows we see similar manifestations occurring all over Europe and the world. Resent anti banking demonstrations in Greece show echo what is the mood of the debate that we are not being represented by our leaders this campaign will continue until the demands are met.
